1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Lokart application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. Services

Lokart is a franchise-based marketplace and logistics platform that connects customers with local merchants, delivery partners, and logistics services. Services include but are not limited to:

  • Food, grocery, pharmacy, and general merchandise ordering
  • Delivery services for marketplace orders
  • Bike taxi and ride-hailing services
  • Parcel delivery and errand services

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your information up to date.

5. Orders & Payments

  • All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
  • Payment is accepted via Cash on Delivery (COD) and wallet balance
  • Orders are subject to merchant acceptance and product availability
  • Delivery charges are calculated based on distance and service type
  • Merchants may partially fulfill orders if some items are unavailable

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Orders may be cancelled before the merchant begins preparation. Refunds for wallet payments will be credited back to your Lokart wallet. Disputes can be raised through the support section in the App.

7. Delivery & Logistics

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
  • A delivery PIN is required for order verification at delivery
  • For logistics services, pricing includes base fee, per-km rate, and waiting charges
  • Ride services are subject to driver availability in your franchise region

8. Merchant & Delivery Partner Terms

Merchants and delivery partners operate as independent entities within franchise regions. They are responsible for the quality of their products and services. Lokart facilitates the connection but is not liable for the actions of individual merchants or delivery partners.

9. Prohibited Conduct

  • Providing false information during registration
  • Using the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Interfering with the operation of the App
  • Creating multiple accounts
  • Abusing promotional offers or wallet systems
  • Harassing merchants, delivery partners, or other users

10. Limitation of Liability

Lokart is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order in question.

11. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

12. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Account page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Andhra Pradesh, India.
